Wade

Wade is the biggest smooch, he’s always first at the gate and is the perfect therapy horse, he takes his job very seriously and he’s really good at it! He’s absolutely a favourite! I call him my gentle giant being 16hh. He knows exactly when you need support, and when you require space to work through your emotions and feelings. It’s always love at first sight with this guy.

Logan

Logan is a Dun Buckskin Quarter Horse. He has a quicky personality and loves to play. In sessions Logan is quite expressive and enjoys spending time with humans, supporting them through their journey and helping them to learn more about themselves when engaging in the equine world.

What our participants are saying

I am so grateful I gave Phoenix Rise a go as it gave me ways to slow myself down and breathe.

I have attended both a group session and 1:1 sessions which I got a lot out of.

Sophia has a way to be professional, reliable and just knows which horses will bring out what is needed.

Jess

Private participant

Participating in equine therapy was a transformative experience. The horses are so clever and Sophia made each session welcoming and healing.

I highly recommend it to anyone for emotional and mental health.

Avery

NDIS Participant

I was surprised at how quickly my daughter (who is 6 years old and is autistic) felt relaxed around the horses. They made her calm, which is the first time I can say that in a long time.

Equine therapy really works.
Give it a go if you’re sitting on the fence (the horse fence!).

Michelle

Mother of NDIS Participant

I have had the pleasure of attending Phoenix Rise Equine Therapy on three occasions now and each has been amazing. Sophia and the horses provide a grounding environment that leaves me feeling peaceful not just during the sessions but in the days that follow. It has had a powerful and positive influence on my life and each time seems to be more beneficial than the last. I am excited for my future sessions and would highly recommend Phoenix Rise to anyone seeking a unique and peaceful form of therapy.
